My new discovery - House of Zandra

I popped into the NEC on Friday afternoon and met the lovely (and mega talented) Sandra Wright - creator of the House of Zandra range. I can't believe I have only just discovered this crafty range ... I fell totally in love with everything on Sandra's stand and bought all of her fabulous girl stamps, 40 odd pages of decoupage and three templates! Here is the first of my HOZ creations, hope you like it ... if you do you can buy Sandra's range here://

Freebie Cards

I don't buy craft magazines very often, but I did buy the April  14 copy of Making Cards a week or so ago.  These are six cards that I made with one of the free gifts that came with the mag - hope you like them.

Graphic 45 - Special Card for a Special Friend's Birthday

Made this card for my lovely friend Roy (of Candy Box Crafts) whose birthday it is next week.

I used a few pieces of mdf, a selection of green papers from a variety of Graphic 45 collections. Am so chuffed with how it turned out and even more chuffed that Roy really liked it too.

G45 Sweet Sentiments - Easter

Have been crafting like mad this evening, and have made 24 Easter cards for colleagues at work. I used three 12 x 12 sheets of Graphic 45's lovely Sweet Sentiments collection. Simply cut small rectangles and matted them onto coordinating card stock. Then just added some matching ribbon. Plan to hand them out with a small chocolate egg to keep everyone at work happy!

Bert & Gert - Travel (3)

Have had a lovely afternoon playing with my Bert & Gert stamps and colouring in with my Promarkers. Love the caravan in the Travel set of stamps and went for a whole rainbow of them.

Finally Used my Inkadinkado Stamps ... yaaay

I don't know if anyone else is like me, but I seem to buy stamps with every intention of using them and then they just sit in a drawer unopened and unused?

I'm not a very confident user of stamps, so I set myself a goal in January, to use one of my previously unused stamp sets each week. This would hopefully build my confidence, improve my stamping technique and reduce the feelings of guilt for buying and them not using.

This weeks stamp set was from the Inkadinkado range - and was a set of four leaf stamps, I fell in love with this skeleton leaf, so jave had a play around this afternoon with my Promarkers and made these four cards on a seasons theme. They are not perfect but I am quite pleased with how they turned out. xx

Graphic 45 - Good Old Sport Mini Book Box

Bought a couple of the G45 book boxes last weekend, along with all the new paper releases (because I could not decide between them). So last night had a play with the Good Ol' Sport collection and came up with this:
